Cell Culture

One of the most important tools in cellular and molecular biology is the cell culture plate, which offers excellent model systems for researching the normal physiology and biochemistry of cells (metabolism, aging, effects of drugs and toxic compounds on cells, mutagenesis, and carcinogenesis, among other topics). Drug development and screening also make use of it. The main benefit of utilizing cell culture plates for these purposes is the ability to produce consistent and repeatable findings by employing a batch of clonal cells.
