Microfiltration Apparatus, 47mm
A fritted glass support base with a porosity of 40-60 microns, comprised of a 300 ml, 1000ml graduated funnel, an anodized aluminum clamp, and a #8 silicone stopper or 40/35 joint glass support base is included in the microfiltration assembly. Funnels are graduated in 25 mL increments from 100 to 250 mL. The prefilter is 35 mm in diameter. 9.6 cm² is the approximate filter area. Produced with 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass that meets the criteria of USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A. It is generally used for the analysis of particle or microbiological contamination and is used for general filtration.
